Energy Center

The Cordova Energy Center building serves as a dedicated workshop, laboratory, and headquarters for Science Club projects and activities. The Energy Center is a place for building biogas digerstors, assembling wind turbines, housing the used oil burner, performing experiments, creating apparatuses, and testing ideas. It provides space for the kind of independent, student-driven learning that generates interest and experience not available from the traditional classroom. Additionally, the Energy Center facilitates CHS student cooperation with scientists and researchers doing real science.
